Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor from Karnataka who is known for creating the idol of Ram Lalla for the newly created Ayodhya Ram Temple has expressed his overwhelming emotions and proclaimed himself as the “luckiest person on the planet.” “I feel like I am in the world of dreams. The blessings of my forefathers, family and Lord Shri Ram have always been with me”, are the exact words of the skilled artist Arun Yogi Raj. His sentiment not only shows his personal accomplishment but also a strong connection with divine inspiration and heritage.

This heart-warming journey was witnessed on Monday during the Pran Prathistha or consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple, presided over by Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister led the auspicious consecration program of the newly established Ram Lalla idol after participating in a series of rigorous religious rituals for 11 days as part of the preparation for this auspicious event.

Artistic skills of the sculptor from Karnataka Arun Yogiraj took the centre stage when Ram Lalla’s idol was unveiled in its final form which stood 51-inch tall and is carved from black stone. Lord Ram is depicted as a five-year-old boy standing gracefully on lotus, portraying a divine and innocent incarnation. Before this significant ceremony, the idol was veiled which created an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

Prime Minister’s words on this event:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that being part of this event at Ram Temple in Ayodhya brought him immense joy and happiness. He said that the day is equivalent to the festival “Diwali”, the festival of lights which is celebrated for the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after victory over Ravana in the epic battle.

Arun Yogiraj makes into history books:

22 January 2024 has already made a place in the Indian history which will be remembered by upcoming generations as the day of sacred consecration of Ram Lalla. Arun Yogiraj’s name has already made to the history book for his art which has brought life to the idol of Lord Ram.
